Beholding the Word – Preparing for John

This week we step into the story of John the Baptist, the forerunner whose life prepared the way for Jesus long before the crowds ever saw the Lamb of God. Together we’ll explore what made John’s witness so credible, why his humility carried such spiritual weight, and how his example teaches us to recognize Jesus in our own lives today.

We will read from Mark 1, John 1, and Matthew 3, walking through the baptism and calling of Jesus—moments that reveal the heart of God breaking into the world. We’ll ask:
If Jesus walked past me today, would I recognize Him?
