Cuts & Kicks is back for the '25-'26 school year!
What is Cuts & Kicks??
This is a free event hosted by members of the community that want to help send kids back to school with fresh hair cuts and a new pair of tennis (or gym approved) shoes.
It will be held on Saturday, August 9th at Love&Truth Church.
While this is a free event, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and IN PERSON ONLY!
But don't worry, you have until Monday, July 28th to get registered!
You may go to The Life Center on Monday's from 10am-1pm or 5pm-7pm to register.
The child you are registering does NOT have to be present to register, however THEY MUST be present to receive the shoes on August 9th.
Want to help?
Cuts & Kicks is ONLY possible due to amazing volunteers! Our biggest and immediate need is of course, SHOES! You can begin buying them now, don't worry the size, we need them all!
You can also look for shoes hanging in different business locations with specific sizes in the near future.
Donated shoes may be brought to the Life Center any Monday between 10am-1pm or 5pm-7pm.
Another opportunity to help is by cutting hair!
You will bring your tools with you and will have your own station.
We do ask only for volunteers that have received a license to cut hair. (It does not have to be current, but must have held one at one time)
Volunteers on the day of the event, August 9th are also needed in abundance.
