The Salty Scent of Home

A stirring celebration of immigrant stories and the universal search for belonging.

Blending personal narratives, lyrical movement, and live performance, the production is woven with poems inspired by migratory birds—symbols of freedom and resilience. After touring Vancouver Island, this moving work returns to the Phoenix stage. Created and directed by Yasmine Kandil, it is the opening production in the Phoenix Theatre’s 25/26 mainstage season.
