The End of the Line: An Improvised Post-Apocalyptic Dystopia

Dreams are the closest company of dead men. Spend a minute in the past, lose a lifetime in the present.

In a world set ablaze, or frozen over, or without light, we still survive. Under intense famine, or relentless heat, or surrounded by toxic fumes, we continue to exist. When there is nothing left in this world for us to call home, still we march forward.

Join Snap! Theatre as they explore the style of Post-Apocalyptic Theatre in The End of the Line. This completely improvised play will make you laugh a little, feel a lot, and leave you wondering: What line would you cross for your own survival?

Join Chaz Booty, Director of Snap! Theatre, for a 4-hour workshop exploring the style of a Post-Apocalyptic Dystopia and the improv skills associated with surviving the journey. This workshop will increase the depth of your characters, emphasize the importance of your movement, and reminisce on the themes that make us human. After all, not everyone survives the end of the world.

Interested in play and discovery, Chaz first began his improv journey over 18 years ago. He has over 10 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages across schools, community centres, and Paper Street Theatre. Chaz has also been a judge, private coach, and is the director of Snap! Theatre.

Chaz appreciates storytelling and honest sincerity within his work. He recognizes that honesty requires trust, and works to create a fun and connected learning environment where everyone can laugh and reflect. His improv motto is: I don't always know where I'm going, but I know we'll get there together.
