Texas Strong Run

Please join VARRA on Wednesday, July 16 in participating in a free run while raising funds for the Texas flood victims. We will meet at DeLeon Plaza at 6:30 PM as we embark on one of two routes that will spell out our support: “Texas Strong” is 5.3 miles, and “Texas” is 2.2 miles.

We will also have flyers that have qr codes linked to many local organizations that are accepting monetary donations, and it is completely optional to donate. (Please note that the donations will go directly to the organization of your choosing, and VARRA will not see any of the money that is sent.)

We are extremely grateful that Victoria and its surrounding areas did not experience any flooding, and we’d like to show that we are Texas Strong. May this small act of kindness help those in need as they begin this difficult journey of recovering. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was impacted.
