Internationally recognized jazz artists from New York are offering two unique master classes on jazz practice and performance. These sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone — fans, learners, amateur musicians, and professionals alike.

Misha Piatigorsky: The Art of Jazz Piano
Russian-born and New York-based virtuoso pianist Misha Piatigorsky is an award-winning jazz musician, composer, producer, and recording artist.
Touring globally as both a sideman and a leader, Misha has collaborated with many of the top artists in jazz.
In this intimate master class, Misha will offer insights for pianists and share the wisdom passed down from jazz legend Kenny Barron, along with stories from his eclectic career in Brazilian music, hip-hop, modern jazz, and beyond.

Rudy Royston: The Drum Set — Movement, Imagination, and Mastery
Master drummer Rudy Royston takes a break from his busy touring schedule — performing with greats like guitarist Bill Frisell and saxophonist Joe Lovano — to share the deep traditions, imagination, and physicality that make him one of the most in-demand drummers of his generation.

Suggested donation: $40 for participants, $10 for observers.
Note: We know the suggested amount is on the higher side — but it goes directly to these two outstanding musicians who are creating such a rare and inspiring musical experience together. That said, everyone is welcome, regardless of funds!
