Too often in longform or game-based improv, we might default to characters who are angry, antagonistic, or defensive. While conflict can be funny, these choices can shut down discovery, limit the joy of play, and reduce our partners to targets instead of collaborators.
This workshop is all about choosing openness, play, and most importantly, foolishness. We'll explore what happens when we make the choice to be silly, clueless, curious, or just plain wrong, instead of being “right.” With a strong point-of-view, foolish characters invite the world to play with them, not push against it.
