Family Discovery Saturdays
10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Enjoy fun, family-friendly activities on Saturdays at the Museum of the Coastal Bend. Activities are free admission and open to the public. Free supplies while they last!. Activities are open to all ages, but best enjoyed by children ages 8-14.

June 7—Bandanas & Brands: Create a brand; decorate a bandana with your brand
June 14—Cowboy Games: Stick pony racing, horseshoe toss, and roping activities
June 21—Cowboy Poetry & Storytime with Victoria Public Library
June 28—Leather Stamping: Learn leather-tooling techniques and create your own designs
July 5--The museum is CLOSED on July 5. Visit the outdoor La Belle Shipwreck Exhibit and the Texas Native Garden Exhibit (under construction).
July 12—Sail the Seas: Nautical knot tying, activities and crafts
July 19—Horsey Crafts: Design a horse-themed pillow case and collage
July 26—Mission Life: Corn husk doll-making; corn grinding
