(Yup, that's a group of OCS volunteers doing their best version of "Cemetery Gothic!")
Please join us for this summer's third Cleaning Bee.
For this outing, we'll be focusing on an area on the west side of the Cemetery, situated along the shrub hedges that front Memorial Crescent.
We know that our volunteers appreciate having different opportunities to make use of their interests and abilities, so cleaning bee activities will include sweeping and bagging grass and debris from graves, scraping moss and lichen of grave covers, and scrubbing and hosing down monuments.
No registration required. We'll provide cleaning supplies and tools.
We'll meet at the caretakers' building. Please wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and bring gardening or work gloves and water to stay hydrated.
