Castillo (2024) - Feature Film + Q&A

Inspired by Clare Azzopardi’s novel and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Abigail Mallia, 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 is a gripping Maltese drama blending family trauma with political tension. Amanda returns home after her father’s death, reconnects with her estranged mother, and uncovers a tragic past marked by violence and revenge. With strong performances by Mark Doneo, Simone Spiteri, Simone Zammit, Analise Mifsud, and Rachel Genovese, Castillo is an emotionally layered film that lingers long after the credits.
