Digital know-how: Phone photography

Want to know how to give your photos the WOW factor? This workshop will teach a range of tips and tricks for how to use a smartphone to take photos that vividly capture the imagination of the viewer. Explore the concepts of composition including framing, forced perspective and creative shadow play. Basic editing features will also be explored and suggestions provided for using apps to enhance images and give them a unique and professional look.

The Digital know-how series are friendly, interactive sessions designed for adults of all ages to better understand emerging technology. They will have you using everyday tech and smart devices with no worries. Plus, you will get an introduction to the libraries' many free digital resources so that you can start borrowing and using them with confidence!
