Get ready for an exciting adventure by the sea!
Join us for a fun-filled day exploring the coastline from The Bluff to the SA Whale Centre. You’ll walk along sandy beaches, discover cool ocean treasures and learn about how we can protect our planet.
At the SA Whale Centre, we’ll dive into a hands-on activity all about microplastics—tiny bits of plastic that end up in our oceans and harm marine animals.
It’s a great way to learn how our actions affect the environment — and what we can do to help. Plus, it’s super fun to sort microplastics and work with your friends to turn old plastic into art!
This program is perfect for kids aged 8 to 14 who love nature, being creative, and making a difference. You’ll leave with new knowledge, new friends, and maybe even a new idea about how to care for our coast.
Wear comfy shoes, pack a drink and snack, and come ready to explore, learn, and lead the way as a Coastal Custodian!
There is a $15 commitment fee to participate in the activities.
