2025 Middle/Senior School Musical "FAME JR."

Students from Encounter Lutheran College are stepping into the spotlight this August as they present Fame Jr, a high-energy musical about dreams, drive, and the journey to success in the performing arts.

The show will be performed at the Victor Harbor Town Hall, 12 Coral Street, on the following dates:

🎟️ Concession: $15 (includes all school-aged children, pensioners, and concession card holders)

With a cast of approximately 40 students from Years 7 to 12, along with half a dozen staff and dedicated volunteers, the production has been in rehearsal since March and promises an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.

Set in New York City’s prestigious High School for the Performing Arts, Fame Jr follows the lives of talented teens as they face the challenges of auditions, academics, ambition, and adolescence. The story blends powerful musical numbers with heartfelt moments and fast-paced choreography, exploring what it truly means to chase your dreams.

Assistant Director Tim Wormald said the production is a testament to the students’ commitment and passion:

“Fame Jr is a fantastic show about the value of hard work, following your passions, and the importance of staying true to yourself. Our director Elizabeth Bentley and her team have worked tirelessly to bring this story to life. The cast and crew are exceptional – they are the reason we do this.”
