Summer Chef Series Featuring Chef Jay Parmegiani

We’re wrapping up the 2025 Summer Chef Series with local favorite Chef Jay Parmegiani, the creative force behind 10 South Rooftop Bar & Grill in downtown Vicksburg.

👨‍🍳 About Chef Jay:
Jay Parmegiani began his culinary career at age 12 in his father’s Vicksburg restaurant. He went on to train at Johnson & Wales University in Miami while working in a variety of acclaimed kitchens. After returning to Mississippi, Chef Jay opened two restaurants and now leads the kitchen at 10 South, where his dishes — from shrimp & grits to blackened catfish — have become Vicksburg staples.
