About Mikkel Mainz
Mikkel Mainz is an animation director and founder of the studios Sun Creature, Skjald, and Skjaldborn. He specializes in 2D animated films for both children and adults. Most recently, he directed the series HØJ for Fredagstamtam, and has also contributed to productions such as MESTERLIGE MONSTERBØRN and IVANDOE, to name just a few. His breakthrough came with the web series TALES OF ALETHRION on YouTube, which raised over 4 million DKK on Kickstarter and now has over 220,000 views across platforms. He is also a dedicated educator, having taught at The Animation Workshop in Viborg.
