Cost: $30 per workshop (Or pay what you can because cost should not be a deterrent to creativity!) You will record the price you pay for the workshop during registration; either the $30 or less for the pay what you can option.
Traditional collage techniques of clipping from magazines, books, and other sources will be used to create layered collages. As an added bonus, we will use gel plate printing techniques to create printed pages to incorporate into our collages. All supplies will be provided, but bringing photos, magazines, decorative paper, and other embellishments that inspire you is encouraged!
Make Creativity a Habit
Join this 4 workshop series to create an art journal using a new technique each week and practice focusing on the process of creating art! Focusing on the process of making art – rather than the product is a powerful tool to explore creativity which is within us all! We don’t need creative careers, art degrees, or art studios to make creativity a habit. We will practice the most important part of creativity – the process of making art – to make being creative a regular and achievable habit in our lives.
Join one or more sessions. In the first session attended you will receive an art journal. Art journals will be A5 size binders with mixed media paper to support all sorts of art techniques.
