Hello again fellow MINIacs. It is time again for our annual Nakusp run!!! For those that have never been on this run with us, it is our absolute favorite drive, with almost 100 km of twisties!
This year, however, we want to do things a little different. We will be traveling just past Nakusp to the Lone Falls picnic area (approximately 27 km north of Nakusp) and having a picnic, rather than sitting in a restaurant. I will be smoking pork shoulder roasts the day before the event for pulled pork sandwiches, and we will also be having some side dishes as well. Just bring your own drinks, and possibly some fold up chairs as well. If there are any members attending who would like to contribute to the side dishes, please let me know, although I can also bring them if need be.
Also, if there are any members who live in that area or the Kootenays (or even further!) whom would like to join us in Nakusp for the picnic, that would be fantastic as well!
This will most likely be our final big drive for the season, with possibly a few meetups before we go into hibernation for the season.
We look forward to seeing as many out as possible. As mentioned, this is the one drive that we look forward to every year, and we are trying to make this one a banger!!! This event will also allow for some extra OKMC Challenge points!
