Come join us at Great Lakes Aikido to learn more about striking training! The goal of this seminar is to focus on how to incorporate striking into some of the body movements and techniques typically covered in Aikido. Basics such as how to properly align your hand and body to deliver a strike, the power line, the drop step, and how to take proper ukemi when receiving atemi will be covered. We might even work in a little kicking, too! This seminar won’t be comprehensive, but it will provide participants with a foundation to explore atemi-waza in the context of further study.
