Join horticulturist and herbalist Mackenzie Laurin for a guided walk along the trails of Vermilion Provincial Park. We'll discuss the wild edibles of mid-summer, phytonutrients, and the specifics of sustainable foraging. At the end of the walk, we will gather for a wholesome, herbally-enriched meal, prepared 'in-house'.
πΏ What to Expect
This 1-hour walk will highlight plants of culinary significance- primarily those best harvested in July and Mid-Summer.
π± Ecosystem Focus: Riparian Forest
We will then gather for a delicious lunch, including a beverage, main course, and a little sweet treat.
π Tickets: (limited to 10 people)
General Admission: $65/ person
Children Ages 6-12: $20 (must be accompanied by an adult)
Children <6: Free
Loyalty Pricing: Returning guests who have attended a Ladybird Plant Walk in 2025 will recieve $5 off their ticket. We're excited to see you again!
