VENTURA LIVE: The World is my Home; The Life of Paul Robeson

The NAACP Award-winning The World is My Home: The Life of Paul Robeson—written and performed by acclaimed actor, singer, and activist Stogie Kenyatta—brings to life America’s first Black Renaissance man in a riveting one-man show featuring 15 characters. Robeson’s journey spans the Harlem Renaissance, the Jazz and Be-bop era, the horrors of slavery, the Holocaust, McCarthyism, and global fights for social justice. First performed at the National Civil Rights Museum, this powerful work has toured nationally and internationally, honoring Robeson’s enduring vision of a world united in brotherhood.
