Join us for Rancho San Miguel Days and step back in time. Experience music, dancing, storytelling, games, and hands-on activities that celebrate the rich history and heritage of our pioneers and indigenous peoples.
Artists: Theme is Rancho Days, so bring up to three paintings that fit this theme (1200BC - 1769AD Chumash Period leading up to 1769 - 1882 Spanish Period, 1840s-1900s Early American) so your historic landmark Olivas Adobe, Camarillo Ranch, Rancho Camulos, Mission, Oxnard Farm Park, Heritage Square, Stagecoach Inn, early churches, historic train depots, agriculture and rancho animals paintings are fitting. Helle and Lois have offered to bring their grids/covers, and will guide placement (space depending on turnout). There will be 2 canopies and chairs and table provided.
Bring your plein air setup and plan to paint. Plus a lunch so you can hang out with us!
