Squirrel Appreciation Day with a Goddards Twist

Join us at Goddards Brewery as we celebrate Squirrel Appreciation Day, a yearly chance to recognise one of the Isle of Wight's most treasured residents, the red squirrel. Our Island population is very special, and we want to use this day to highlight their importance and share how people can support their conservation.

We are also adding our own Goddards touch.

Order any main meal and enjoy a complimentary pint of our award-winning Wight Squirrel, renamed Red Squirrel for the day. This rich, russet-coloured Best Bitter is brewed with roasted malts that give a smooth caramel taste and Boadicea hops. It is full flavoured, easy drinking with a subtle spicy note, proudly local, and the perfect way to toast our furry friends.

We will have information available about the Island's red squirrel population, including simple ways people can support their protection. These iconic animals are a much loved part of the Isle of Wight and are well worth celebrating.
