About the event

Sandown Main Carnival 2025
Join us as we kick off the 2025 carnival season on the Island in style, featuring an array of colourful floats, bands and spectacular costumes - an event not to be missed!

The day also includes our Children’s Parade & entertainment in Sandham Gardens throughout the day - https://www.sandowncarnival.com/event-calendar/childrens-carnival-2025

Our main carnival procession leaves from Sandown Library at 7pm, leading on a route around the town and finishing back at the library.

The best viewpoints include: Beachfield Road, Royal Crescent, Melville Street, Fitzroy Street, Station Avenue and Albert Road.
