Sunset Surf and Social

LOCATION: Fishing Pier at Ventnor City Beach, NJ
Left side of the pier is the designated surf spot.

TIME: 11am (come earlier if you want)

Enjoy a surf session and dancing with friends. Bring food/drinks/umbrellas and good vibes to last until sunset💃🔥🏄‍♀️🥳. You can surf, dance or just kick it on the beach. Music will be bachata and zouk focused, but open to requests. All are welcome!

SURF DETAILS:
- No experience necessary - Brisa will do a surf lesson for any beginners!
- Bring a rash guard top to protect your skin from rubbing on the board. The water should be warm so no wet suit is needed.
- Will check and post the surf report the week of the event to ensure the conditions are good
- We'll have a couple boards but will most likely need to rent some. Bring your surf board if you have one

SURF BOARD RENTAL:
You can rent a surf board at Heritage Surf & Sport (9223 Ventnor Ave #1, Margate City, NJ 08402). It's 7 minutes south of the pier.
- Their hours are from 9am to 9pm so make sure you return your board before they close
- Price: $30 per day
- Get a 8ft or 9ft board for beginners. The shorter the board, the harder it is to balance for beginners
- Make sure to have enough room in your car if you don't have a roof rack. If you have a small car, the board might hang out your trunk or in the back seat sticking out the side window. Bring string to tie down your trunk.

Carpooling recommended - parking might be tight.
