Kintsugi for Mother’s Day

Give the gift of self acceptance and resilience through the beautiful practice of mending pottery with brushed metallic powders—rediscovering and celebrating strength in imperfection.

There are few things more empowering than knowing and accepting each other just as we are.

In addition to a new skill, new connections and a memorable experience, each participant will walk away with a mended piece that will cure within 24 hours, or the materials to complete a work in progress.

Pottery and supplies included, but feel free to bring a meaningful piece (broken or intact) of your own. Dress for mess just in case. We’ll provide light snacks and bubbly. Light safety gear (gloves, masks, etc) provided.

This is a beginner’s class led by a Secular Humanist Celebrant with a pragmatic mental health approach—no experience necessary.
