Shorts On Tap lands in Venice for the fifth time this August with a short film series titled 'Fuori Campo' (Off-Screen/Out of Bounds).
This year, the event, in collaboration with Circuito Cinema and #CineMoving2025, will once again be presented by actor and director Mattia Berto.
A true celebration of the independent short film, Fuori Campo will bring a program of unreleased works to Campo San Polo, covering a variety of themes and subjects ranging from experimental short films to dramatic features, and even animated shorts.
In the magical setting of open-air cinema in Campo San Polo, we will present a selection of short films from across Europe, exploring original themes, stories, and subjects captured through the lens of independent filmmakers.
The short film screenings will be followed by a Q&A session with the attending directors and the audience.
Shorts On Tap was founded in London in 2013, stemming from an idea by Venetian Filippo Polesel. Since then, the festival has become a true reference point for independent and mainstream filmmakers in the British capital and beyond.
