Why participate in this run?

Our veterans shelter provides an environment that allows veterans to grow and heal, while also offering the opportunity to work towards independent living. With your help, we want to assist even more veterans and greatly improve their chances of a successful transition to becoming a happy, healthy, productive member of society. That is the reason City Mission has built a 22-bed shelter for homeless veterans, The Crabtree – Kovacicek Veterans House. Your contribution and race participation benefits the operations of this house and its continued growth.
