Varna Playback Theatre and Balkan Playback Theatre School invite you to an advanced workshop with Karin Gisler, internationally respected Playback Theatre practitioner and trainer, and the special guest of 2025 Bulgarian PT festival. She has trained in expressive arts, psychology, clowning and theatre in Zurich, London and New York. Since 1992 she has worked professionally as a conductor, actress, and trainer for Playback Theatre around the globe and her company has existed for 34 years now. She was a member of the board of IPTN, and is an accredited trainer and listening hour practitioner.

🎭Many Playback companies are afraid to use the classical Longform and replace it with newer solo or abstract forms which are easier to play as they demand much less teamplay and connection.
But: Theater IS about connecting and relating on stage.
We will have a look at the Longform and start to learn some technics which will give you confidence and skills to use the equally demanding and rewarding Longform.
