Hiljaisuuden, luonnon ja ihmismielen herkkiä sävyjä tutkiva konsertti yhdistää aikamme säveltäjien uuden musiikin barokkisoitinten vivahteikkaaseen ilmaisuun.
Sarah Nemtsovin elektroakustinen cembaloteos at land kuljettaa kuulijan mielenmaisemiin, kun taas Kirmo Lintisen La loure de la vie luo elävän yhteyden menneen ja nykyisen välille. Italialaissyntyisen Paola Livorsin runollinen ja meditatiivinen sävelkieli herää eloon sopraano Pia Freundin, bandoneonisti Henrik Sandåsin sekä periodisoittajien tulkinnoissa.
Konsertti huipentuu Livorsin kantaesitykseen, joka avaa uusia ovia sopraanon ja bandoneonin kiehtovalle vuoropuhelulle.

A concert exploring the delicate nuances of silence, nature, and the human mind brings together contemporary composers’ new music with the expressive richness of Baroque instruments.
Sarah Nemtsov’s electroacoustic harpsichord piece at land transports the listener into inner landscapes, while Kirmo Lintinen’s La loure de la vie creates a vivid connection between the past and the present. The poetic and meditative musical language of Italian-born Paola Livorsi comes to life through performances by soprano Pia Freund, bandoneonist Henrik Sandås, and period instrument players.
The concert culminates in the world premiere of Livorsi’s new work, which opens fresh doors to the captivating dialogue between soprano and bandoneon.
