In this warm, generative, and communal workshop, poet and spoken word artist invites writers of all experience levels to explore how poetry can help us carry deep emotion and honour the people and places we love most.
Through the works of luminaries like Ross Gay and Aracelis Girmay, we’ll investigate poetry’s capacity to let us write about our communities and neighbourhoods with reverence, attention, and beauty.
