Third Space Night

Community isn't just found - it's built, together. Our first Third Space Night of 2026 is all about imagining the kind of communities we want to be a part of, and then exploring how to bring those visions to life. Whether your New Year's resolution is to seek out more community in your life, or you just want to join an inspiring evening with good folks, this gathering is for you.

You can expect connective conversations and idea sharing, a talk about and the impact of community-led projects, and crafting vision boards. Plus, a cozy space, live music, snacks, and time to just hangout.

Due to limited room capacity, registration is required. To help contribute to event costs and keep Third Space running, select a 'Pay What You Can' ticket.

About Third Space:

Our monthly gatherings are a welcoming, inclusive ‘third space’ (places outside of home and work/school to be around community) for fostering genuine connections and exploring ways to build community, both within our gatherings and beyond them. We bring together people from across Vancouver of diverse ages, identities and lived experiences.

Each gathering has opportunities for…

• Connecting with people you may not otherwise meet in your daily routine.
• Meaningful conversations and inspiring talks from local community-builders.
• Learning about ways to get more engaged in community initiatives in Vancouver.
• Just hanging out in a fun community space- did we mention there's always dessert?

Recognizing it can be intimidating to walk into a room of new people, gatherings are facilitated to guide you through the evening. Each gathering has a theme related to community-building that shapes the activities and discussions. Third Space Nights are non-alcoholic events.
