Celebrate the holidays with Silent Book Club! This meeting will be a bit different as you'll be choosing a book to go on a blind date with 😝. If you would like to participate, please follow the steps below. We will be meeting at the VPL Firehall Branch for this meeting only:
1. Bring a book that you would like to give away
2. Please wrap it up and add a little bio on the front, but don't give too much away!
3. Please include the genre, short summary of the book, and any trigger warnings if applicable.
Participation is optional! Feel free to come with your own book to read and enjoy the festivities with us.
Blind date books will be laid out on a table. For those participating, please choose a book from the table. Feel free to open it during our group introductions and read it during our 1 hour silent period. Itinerary as follows:
2-2:30pm: meet and greet, pick up and open blind date books
2:30-3:30pm: Silent reading
3:30-4:30pm: closing discussions and socializing
