🌿 ReconciliACTION PLan & Well-Being: A 2.5-Hour In-Person & Virtual Workshop

Hosted by Kits Beach Coffee, Facilitated by Decolonize and Rize founders Vanessa Lesperance & Ariana Fotinakis


Join us for an exploratory 2-hour workshop that bridges the worlds of decolonization and increasing your capacity for change.

This circle includes: review of TRC's Calls to Action and UNDRIP; use of the Well-Being Workbook; theory; and developing your own reconciliACTION plan (either for yourself or your business).


What You’ll Experience:


  • 🌱 Explore how to build your window of resilience through increasing your capacity to change through building community and self-awareness.
  • 💬 Understand the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report as a framework, create a ReconciliACTION plan that will help you do your part to create a more just, equitable, and compassionate society for all.
  • 🛠 Learn the power and influence you hold in your workplace and community to create meaningful change.
  • 🤝 Engage in small group discussions and activities for deep reflection and integration.

Meet the Facilitators:


Vanessa Lesperance (she/her)A heart-centered, mixed-heritage Métis (French–Anishinaabe) woman, Vanessa is reclaiming her Métis roots as a proud descendant of voyageurs and ancestors involved in the Red River Resistance. Co-founder of Decolonize and Rize, Vanessa is a facilitator, speaker, and connector. She holds a graduate business degree from SFU and a Master’s in Leadership from Royal Roads University, focusing on decolonizing business through workplace spirituality.

Ariana Fotinakis (she/her)Of Anishinaabe and Greek ancestry, Ariana is the daughter of a Sixties Scoop survivor and is proudly reclaiming her roots. As co-founder of Decolonize and Rize, she is a trauma-informed coach and breathwork facilitator who offers a grounded, compassionate approach to support healing and decolonial journeys.
