We will have workshops including a masterclass taught by Luan and Adriana, phenomenal social dancers (including ones from out of town), and you guessed it, our battle’s back! For those of you that came last year, it was epic! Come join the vibes and bring friends and family to come watch the competition too!

🪩BATTLE OVERVIEW🪩:
Our street-dance inspired battle is back, this year, with special guest judges Luan and Adriana! This is an open-level competition inspired by the battles done in street dance and hustle. Contestants will battle it out for the titles of "The Get Down King and Queen" along with a cash prize! Keep an eye out for future posts for further details.
All battles will take place on Saturday evening.
SIGN-UP DETAILS:

- Maximum 16 follows
- Maximum 16 leads
- $10 entry fee (100% goes towards a cash prize split among the "The Get Down King and Queen")
- Final cash pot will be matched by the RCZ team to sweeten the deal!
FORMAT: Single-Elimination Tournament (Same format as last year)
All battles will take place on Saturday evening.
Prelims: Dancers will be randomly paired and placed in heats of a maximum of 4 couples. Pairings will be rotated 2-3 times. 8 follows and 8 leads will be selected to move on to the next round.
Top 8: The selected follows and leads will be randomly paired. Two couples will compete in each battle, dancing one couple at a time. Couples will dance to the same song, then rotate partners and dance to a second song. The winning follow and the winning lead of each battle will be selected to move forward to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals: Two couples will compete in each battle, dancing one couple at a time. Couples will dance to the same song, then rotate partners and dance to a second song.
The winning follow and the winning lead of each battle will be selected to move forward to the Finals.
Finals: The last two couples will compete in the final battle, dancing one couple at a time. Couples will dance to 2 songs, rotate partners and dance to 2 more songs.
The winners will be crowned "The Get Down King and Queen"!
PRIZES:
- "The Get Down King and Queen" will split the cash pot 50/50
- Bragging rights!
