Niloo Farahzadeh (she/her) is a singer-songwriter, musician and illustrator based in Lekwungen Territory (Victoria, B.C.).Her multidisciplinary work explores ancestry, migration, and diasporic identity. Her musical project Niloo pays homage to her ancestry and personal history as a Iranian-Canadian woman; sonically hybridizing western dreampop, psych and shoegaze with 60's and 70's Iranian pop to create a fuzzy, nostalgic fabric of sound.

"One of the most remarkable things about Niloo's artistry is how she's able to hold multiple truths at once. She pays tribute to her Iranian heritage while mining a sound all her own. Her genre-defiant sensibilities never feel contrived, but instead, they have a natural fluidity that only comes from lived experience and self-interrogation." - Zillions Magazine

Wallgrin is the experimental art-pop project of composer, vocalist and violinist Tegan Wahlgren, based on the unceded, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (Vancouver, Canada). Drawing from a background in Celtic fiddle and choral singing, Wallgrin’s sound moves between lush string-based orchestration, beat-driven pop and ornate vocal arrangements. After completing a degree in electroacoustic music composition, Wallgrin’s songwriting defined itself: pop-adjacent but deviant, never afraid to experiment.

From their 2018 debut ‘Bird/Alien’, to their most recent album ‘Yet Again The Wheel Turns’, Wallgrin’s world building has always revolved around fantastical and mythological imagery. Called “an innovative artist who is just starting to flex their myriad skills and talents” by CBC Music, and a songwriter who “measures up to standards set by art-pop visionaries like Björk and Kate Bush" (Northern Transmissions), their spirited and raw live performances have led them to perform at Pop Montréal, Iceland Airwaves, The Great Escape, Tallinn Music Week, and FOCUS Wales.

Emma Alves is an unearthly songstress whose work ebbs and flows like the silk of a spider's web. Inspired by artists like Willow, Lana Del Rey, and Imogen Heap, Emma introduces an alluring genre by pairing styles like Rock and R&B. As a songwriter, Emma began writing about fairies. Her debut album and leading single gained traction on Canadian radio stations in 2014. Despite the drastic change of genre in recent years, she finds modern surrealism by experimenting with unique instrumentation, production, and collaboration.

Emma infuses soul into all aspects of the creative process, both in and out of the studio. Her all-consuming melodies and enthralling lyricism create a mesmerizing experience that immerses listeners into a fantasy world.

Don't get lost.
