Words have power to inspire and affirm. In this workshop, participants will showcase a word or phrase that is empowering on a 9x12 mixed-media collage. ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED.
With step by step guidance, you will be taught how to create layers of pattern, color and texture with collage elements combined like a tapestry with acrylic paint and other mediums. Mixed-media collage is a very expressive and liberating process that is beginner friendly as well as useful for the seasoned art maker.
Words and empowering phrases will be provided, or Bring Your Own printed out words if you have something specific you'd like to showcase on your artwork.
