Day 1 - Studio Tours

Explore the possibilities after you finish your studies with tours of a local print shop and design studios (digital, creative, inhouse).

Day 2 - Portfolio Reviews

Open to students and recent graduates aspiring to enter into a career in communication design and students currently enrolled in a design program. Share your portfolios or work in progress to several industry professionals to obtain insightful and constructive advice about your current portfolio. This is a great opportunity to practice 'real-world' interview skills and receive honest feedback in a non-competitive environment. This is also a great opportunity to network with the who's who in the Vancouver design community.

Note: be prepared to present your work on a Laptop or as printed materials. No phones or small screens please.

Your Portfolio Reviewers:

• Are actively working in the industry
• Have 10+ years of experience and/or CDP™ Certified
• Know what employers and clients are looking for
• Have experience in a variety of environments (soloprenuer, in-house, agency, studio)
• Work in advertising, communication design, branding, web, ux/ui
