As we enter into Samhain season — traditionally understood as a transitional period of resolution and renewal — may we give a nod to our ancestors in recognition of their efforts and of their hopes, and may the dancefloor serve as both a splendrous liminal space and a collective bonfire which continues to illuminate through the (externally) dimmer days to come! 🌟
RÚN and Raghunath Khe join forces to curate an exuberant soundtrack for this shared night of celebration, creating ample opportunities for a dynamic, immersive dance experience. From exhilarating peaks to beautiful, expansive refrains, and all spaces in between. An abundance of eclectic rhythms, sweet bass, and ethereal frequencies emanating from diverse corners of the globe. Source-sound transmissions shaped by the hearts and minds of some of the world’s most innovative musicians, composers, and producers.

Born in the Czech Republic, the land shaped by the ancient Boii tribe that gave rise to Bohemia, and now living in Canada, RÚN embodies a deep passion for storytelling through music. Formerly performing under the name -MK-, RÚN brings years of experience as a DJ and performer, starting his journey with his first gig in 2008. After rediscovering his love for electronic music, he returned to DJing in 2019 in Vancouver, where his sound evolved to blend primal energy with atmospheric depth. The name Rún, meaning mystery or secret, reflects a profound connection to storytelling—each performance is a theatrical journey, woven with emotive beats and rhythms. With a background in theatre and acting, RÚN treats every set as a narrative, fusing diverse genres to craft an experience that’s captivating and unforgettable.
RÚN’s music is inspired by his roots in Bohemia and the breathtaking nature of Canada, creating a unique fusion of past and present. His style incorporates classical, folk, and ethnic influences, spiced with a touch of theatrical flair. In addition to traditional DJing, RÚN collaborates with Paxkan to create ecstatic dance journeys at music festivals and well-being events, adding an interactive and transformative dimension to his artistry. Raghunath Khe has been an intrinsic part of the evolving conscious / fringe dance culture for more than 25 years. An innovative composer, producer, and dj, they are interested in the transformational properties of music, movement, bhajan, and community. They have previously released four albums, earlier ones under the moniker Haitchc, and have composed multiple original film scores. Raghunath is a formal brahmana initiate within the brahma-madhva-gaudiya sampradaya (lineage), having spent several uninterrupted years as a monk studying and serving in temples both in Canada and India. They belong to the sodalities of bhakti, tantra, and ashtanga, and through familial succession, draoidh healing practice. Regularly performing, teaching, and orchestrating events, they are affiliated with the Waxing Moon collective, Intention Gathering, and are a co-resident dj and organizer at Vancouver's long-running Just Dance night. In addition, Raghunath contributes musically and otherwise to various festivals and gatherings locally and internationally. A long-time radio presence, they are currently the host and producer of Mantra Radio on CiTR 101.9fm in Vancouver.

Kashub's name stems from the tribe of his ancestry situated along what is now the Baltic Coast of Poland. The tribe, now dispersed and displaced, lived peacefully isolated amidst sand dunes and swamps along the Baltic since before the dawn of the State of the Teutonic Order some 800 years ago. Kashub is passionately dedicated to augmenting dancefloors with beautiful, lush, and meaningful visuals. Driven by this, he intuitively syncs his artistic output to the shifting mood of the room and the evolving music. He hopes to help elevate the immersive experience, making every event a synesthetic journey where sight and sound merge.
