Infidels Jazz Presents: Jimi James Celebrates Hugh Fraser at Pyatt Hall

Jimi James has quickly earned a reputation as one of the Canadian Jazz Scene's hottest pianists, stemming from his work with his long-running trio, his collaborations with West Coast Legends John Gross & Cambell Ryga, and with the Jimi James Sextet. On October 17, the Sextet performs at Pyatt Hall for the very first time, performing the music of Jimi's father, Hugh Fraser.

Hugh Fraser was a true Canadian legend, travelling the world as one of the Canadian Jazz Scene's foremost spokesmen, performing with Icons like Dizzy Gillespie and Clark Terry.

For this rare performance, Jimi's Sextet will be performing the music of Hugh, in the intimate setting of Vancouver's legendary Pyatt Hall.
