I’m a musician, vocal improviser, multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, singer-songwriter, improvisational contemporary dancer..I served as the worship coordinator at Granville Chapel and a pastoral assistant at Tenth church..
🎨I love God, worship, art, improvisation in music and dance, all things creativity..🎨
As we are the most beautiful art pieces of God, the most creative artist in this world, and surrounded by all kinds of art he created in this world - I’m always dreaming to merge all forms of art , improvisations and free forms of expression into worship , to use our creativity for the glory of the source of our creativity.🎨🖌️🖼️🩰🎼🎬
I love building communities, and I know God loves us to connect and create and worship together.🙌🏻
🌄Last year, God gave me this picture of bringing people from all nations to bow and worship before Him, BREAKING DOWN walls of churches, denominations, nations - and become ONE nation - God’s Kingdom. 🪐 In the dream He gave me, I see people with all kinds of colours all come together and become His people.🙌🏻
💭As the dream keep stirring in me, I’m always dreaming of building a community of regular worship jam sessions 🎵, a space for improvised musicians/ worship artists from different churches to gather in worship, in an intimate space. (Even incorporating dance worship🩰, more art🎨, imaginative prayer🙏🏻 sometime later..)
✍🏻I looove songwriting. The idea of creating an worship album flows through my mind sometimes💽..but I think when we have the right team then it’d be beautiful to create together! If anyone’s interested.. maybe we can make some music for God together.. or maybe we can simply make some friends, a band, or something out of this worship jam house?.. ☺️ who knows..
🎂It’s my little birthday on Dec 8 (Monday).. God gave me a little nudge to try to do something in a personal context, after curating a lot in different churches.
I want to do something for God’s people to dedicate my little day for Him. My soul fulfills when we make joyful noises together in worship, and our Father he might like it too :).
An intimate and cozy one for this first jam..

Venue: Somewhere in Kerrisdale, Vancouver (probably my living room, or a church space.. we’ll see how many people we have..)
