This event is thrown by sex workers for sex workers and supporters. This event is to uplift and appreciate, it is not a solicitation based event. If you are attending please read the following as a gentle reminder of the no gos for attending this event.

🌟You must be 19+ to attend this event and have valid photo ID as proof of age on your persons. (The Birdhouse is mindful of some folks having IDs that have legal names listed, please know they will not be checking your ID name against a ticket or anything else, they simply need to verify age and that your photo ID matches the holder).

🌟NO TOUCHING THE PERFORMERS! (unless you are explicitly given consent to do so by the performer and the performer only).

🌟Do not ask the performers or any other publicly "out" sex workers questions about their profession unless given explicit permission by them.

🌟UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are you to "out" a sex worker or their identity- no matter if they are present or not. Please be mindful of everyone's privacy and safety- protect it as if it were your own.

🌟 Anyone who disobeys these guidelines or any of The Birdhouse's community agreements will be removed from the event immediately.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO:

Entrance is ground level through double doors with a wheelchair accessible entrance/exit (double doors 70 in. wide, single door is 35 in). There are no stairs or steps throughout the venue. The door to the outdoor patio is 35 inches wide, there is a cord that is ½” off the ground running parallel before the door to the outdoor patio. All washrooms are all genders. The wheelchair accessible washroom’s measurements are as follows: door clearance of 34 inches, sink height is 33 inches, toilet paper is 32 inches from the toilet, paper towel height is 44 inches, and a railing on the right side of the toilet is 31 inches from the ground. The door opens inwards to the washroom, the dimensions of the washroom are 94 inches x 70 inches. Seating available - please feel free to ask security or door staff if you ever require a seat and would like staff assistance in finding a seat.
