𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿
An award-winning filmmaker, Jason Karman holds an MFA in Film Production and Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. His films center on Asian diaspora and LGBTQ+ narratives and have screened at international festivals, including Clermont–Ferrand and BFI Flare. His debut feature, Golden Delicious, was supported by Telefilm Canada and screened at 62 festivals globally, earning 14 awards. He is a Directing Member of the Directors Guild of Canada and teaches Film Directing and Queer Cinema at Capilano University.
