Duet Movement Exploration Workshop
Join us for a 4 hour journey into the art of moving together.
In this workshop, you’ll explore creative ways to move across the stage as a duo and discover multiple pathways that lead into technical movement. Through guided exploration, you’ll unlock new possibilities of connection, flow, and stage presence.
As part of the experience, we’ll also introduce you to the exciting world of hand-to-hand dynamics — offering a playful and accessible approach to balance, strength, and trust between partners.

Sofi Malacara bio:
Mexican, multidisciplinary artist in contemporary circus. With more than 12 years of experience in Hula hoop and 5 years of hand to hand with Duo Malam. She worked in puppet companies from 2017 - 2019, she was a dancer and acrobat in 2020 in ‘Hotel iberostar’. She was trained in the high school ‘El circa Jalisco’ in 2020-2023, She was part of multiple arts festivals like, ‘Festival internacional de cine en Mexico’, ‘Xifra Nation’, ‘Xifra Nation’, ‘El circa Jalisco’, ‘El circa Jalisco’, ‘El circa Jalisco’. Xifra Nation’, “Festival Hochelavaganza”, “Festival FAR”, “Turbo Fest”. He performed with companies such as ‘Flip Fabrique’, ‘Circo Dragon’, ‘Cirque Kikasse’, ‘Les productions Haut-vol’, ‘Cabaret Capricho’, ‘Fouco Di Strada’. He did his professional training at ‘Ecole de cirque de Quebec’ in 2022/2025, during this period she took different workshops with ‘GOM’, ‘CIRCA!
Jafet Isaac Resendiz bio:
Jafet Resendiz from Toluca, Mexico.
I started my career as a circus artist at the age of 13 with juggling, winner of a medal in an international and regional competition of the international association of jugglers. I started hand to hand with Eduardo Salazar and i continue my formation with Alexandre Gilles in the school of circus of quebec. With preparatory studies of generalist high school and a professional diploma from the circus school of Quebec in the specialty of hand to hand. With the opportunity to work with well-known circus companies such as Flip Fabrique, Haut-Vol, Cirque kikasse and Cirque Dragon.
