Drawing from Life & Death

Since the dawn of human existence Nature has inspired curiosity and creativity. Join us in the lantern-lit environment of Secret Headquarters as we explore the mysteries of the natural world, drawing the remarkable sculptural remains of animals illuminated by the light of pure beeswax candles.

Artist and environmentalist Celina Starnes, who began this series, is currently pursuing her many diverse interests, so artist Naomi Singer will do her best to be Celina's stunt double and offer natural history related to each animal to deepen your understanding of these creatures. Meanwhile, a little bird called Martin Reisle, will create a gently inspiring musical environment.

These drawing sessions are held the first Wednesday of every month. Enjoy complimentary tea and snacks, with house wine for purchase should the mood arise.
