Event Description – Indigenous Embassy of Mexico in CanadaSeptember 25, 2025

The Indigenous Embassy of Mexico in Canada warmly invites the international community, allies, and civil society to a special evening on September 25, 2025, dedicated to supporting Indigenous and Afro-Mexican communities in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.

This heartfelt event will be a celebration of culture, unity, and solidarity, featuring a rich program designed to uplift and empower the voices and needs of communities facing deep historical inequalities and the recent impact of natural disasters.

The evening will include:

🍽️ A three-course dinner featuring traditional Mexican cuisine,🎶 Live performances by local artists,🖼️ An art auction in support of community initiatives.

Every detail of this event has been thoughtfully curated with a human-centred and compassionate purpose—to raise funds for community development projects, housing reconstruction, access to healthcare and education, and the cultural preservation of Oaxaca’s most vulnerable regions.
