Casual afternoon tango social / practica. Everyone and all levels welcome! Join us to practice or simply enjoy your dance and socialize with friends.
📍LOCATION: EDAM Dance, 303 E 8th Ave (buzz 02 for entry)
3:30-4:30 - ALL LEVELS CLASS WITH NADIA
If you join us for the class, please arrive a bit early so you're ready to dance at 3:30. Not suitable for absolute beginners. Doors open at 3:20.
4:30-6:30 - PRACTICA - DJ: CATHY
Playing your favourite classic tango tunes so you dance your best.
There are two areas- the ronda, where you can practice and respect the line of dance, and a practice area where you can work stuff out.
Guidance is available - Nadia is available to help you with your tango moves or questions whether you are a student or not. You just need to ask! There are also other teachers and advanced dancers who are always generous to help out if you ask.
🎟️ Entrance is by donation. All proceeds after the rent is paid will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
Free and metered street parking around the building. Close to transit lines on Main, Kingsway & E Broadway.
