Chamado do Samba (The Calling of Samba) is a soul-stirring, rhythm-fueled journey into the heart of Brazil’s most iconic dance. This one-hour dance theatre experience fuses movement, music, and storytelling to explore the powerful, ancestral calling of Samba – a call that transcends language, culture, and borders.
Audiences are taken on a vibrational odyssey, following the beat of the drum as it awakens body and spirit. From the streets of Rio to the sacred roots of Afro-Brazilian culture, Chamado do Samba is a celebration of resistance, joy, and togetherness.
