Carry the Rhythm: Limbo Workshop with King Fish

Through movement, music, and cultural sharing, participants will explore how limbo can open space for joy, connection, and release.

Led by professional limbo performer Clifford “King Fish” Palmer of , expect a welcoming atmosphere where you can move, laugh, and share in the fun—whether it’s your first time trying limbo or you’re already a pro.

What to expect:

• Step into the joy of limbo—where dance meets culture, rhythm, and play.
• Cultural sharing—discover the roots of limbo in Black history.
• Move your body with simple stretches, balance, and rhythm-based exercises.
• Get in on the action with friendly limbo challenges, signature tricks, and plenty of encouragement.
• Celebrate together in an open, inclusive space full of creativity, connection, and joy.

It’s a powerful space for reclaiming joy and exploring rhythm through cultural tradition. All ages and abilities welcome! Here is an example of what a limbo workshop can look like.
