Wet Cyanotype: Color, Texture, and Kitchen Alchemy
Take your cyanotype skills to the next level in this immersive workshop exploring the painterly, unpredictable beauty of wet cyanotype. Building on foundational techniques, we’ll dive into experimental methods that use moisture, heat, and common kitchen items to create expressive textures, surprising colors, and dynamic surface effects.
Discover how ingredients like turmeric, paprika, vinegar, soap bubbles, and even plastic wrap can transform your prints into richly layered, atmospheric works of art. You’ll learn to embrace serendipity while gaining control over your compositions through hands-on demos, guided experimentation, and creative prompts.
This class is perfect for artists ready to move beyond crisp botanical prints and into the world of abstract, emotionally resonant cyanotype.
