Spazju Kreattiv and Aġenzija Żgħażagħ have once again teamed up for the fifth edition of SongCraft, a professional development programme tailored for talented singer-songwriters aged 14 – 20.
This initiative offers participants the unique opportunity to be mentored by renowned local singer-songwriters as they develop their skills and create original compositions. The programme culminates in a live showcase at the Spazju Kreattiv theatre in July 2025, where participants will perform the songs they crafted alongside their mentors. Unlike competitive formats, SongCraft fosters collaboration and community among its participants. It is designed to provide a supportive space for young, emerging singer-songwriters who have already started creating their own music, helping them refine their craft and confidently share their work with an audience.
In addition to one-on-one mentorship, Spazju Kreattiv’s communications team will guide participants in promoting their music and building their careers, offering insights into reaching diverse audiences. Meanwhile, Aġenzija Żgħażagħ’s team will follow each participant’s journey closely, providing valuable support and guidance along the way.
This edition of SongCraft proudly features mentors Alexandra Alden, Corazón Mizzi, and Michael Azzopardi, who bring their expertise, experience, and passion to nurture the next generation of musicians. Participants include Amelia Kalabic, Gianluca Abdilla Castillo, Joao Davó, Kylie Meilak, Nathan Abdulhamid & Eliża Stellini.
SongCraft is more than just a programme, it is a platform for young singer-songwriters to develop their artistic voice, gain professional insights, and step confidently into the music industry with the guidance of some of Malta’s finest musical talent.
